This is a custom bridge for A Les Paul Jr. (which also has a custom pickup- see that big honkin PAF?!) Les Paul Jrs. came originally in the ’50s with an angled wrap-around tail piece- the same that forms the back end of a tune-o-matic. The problem is, they don’t stay in tune very well and leave little to no room for adjusting intonation. The modern Gibson and epiphone versions address this with a cheap saddle bridge and two screws. However, I wanted this bridge to look period correct- no saddles and hidden screws. Simply drill and tap a gibson stop-piece, and viola! This modification can also be done to tune-o-matic equipped axes too, increasing your fine tuning ability!
